The challenge

The owner received a weekly report assembled by hand from the POS, accounting software, and ad accounts. Figures were already out of date when they arrived, and different reports disagreed.

The solution

A dashboard pulling data automatically from each source, with agreed definitions for each KPI, owner and branch-manager views, and alerts when key numbers move outside expected ranges.

The most important work happened before any dashboard was built: agreeing on a short list of metrics and exactly how each is calculated, so everyone reads the same number the same way. Figures were reconciled against known reports before the dashboard was treated as the source of truth.

Results

Key numbers are current and consistent across the business, and nobody spends time assembling the weekly report by hand.
